The judges for the Nordic Championships 2024 have been chosen according to the “Manual and Guideline of The Nordic Championship”, by the Nordic Icelandic Horse Corporation, NIHC.
Gæðingakeppni
In Gæðingakeppni the team consists of five judges. Every participating country may suggest one judges but the final decision is up to the organisers. The judges for Gæðingakeppni are the following:
Valdimar M. Ólafsson from Iceland. He will both be judging and is going to be the chief judge. Valdimar has been chosen by the organising country.
Stefán Ágústsson from Iceland, landsdómara and chosen by Iceland. Mathilde Hjort from Norway, landsdómara and chosen by Norway. Nina Bergholt from Sweden, landsdómara and chosen by Norway. Amalie Haubo-San Pedro from Denmark, landsdómara and chosen by Denmark.
Sport
In sport the team is composed of ten judges plus an eleventh chief judge, which will not be actively judging on the track. Each of the six attending countries is allowed to choose a judge, the remaining four judges plus the chief judge will be appointed by the organising country.
Stefan Hackauf from Germany. He will be chief judge and not actively judging on the track. Stefan is chosen by the organising country.
